In other words, they’re aware that distractions are the easy route and they don’t head down that road. That’s not to say that they don’t ever watch television or hang out with friends, but they’re very conscious about the fact there are many things that have the possibility of distracting them from what’s important. …But they don’t let distractions derail them. Quiet achievers are aware that distractions are all around us…įrom hanging out with people and drinking alcohol to watching television. If you find yourself doing the same when you have something worth celebrating, it’s a sure sign that you’re a quiet achiever! 4) You don’t get distracted by the easy route In my experience, it’s always so much more fulfilling just keeping my achievements to myself and celebrating them with my inner circle. …As opposed to sharing it with people who, in all honesty, couldn’t care less. Sure, self-promotion is a good idea to grow your network and business… More often than not, I find myself wondering what good all of that boasting actually is doing… And who is benefiting! You see, I work hard but I don’t feel the need to tell the world just how hard I’m working.īut I see so many people I used to work with just constantly boasting about their achievements on social media. I like to consider myself a quiet achiever, who just gets on with the task at hand and who doesn’t boast. Simply put, quiet achievers recognize that boasting is actually not worth it because it doesn’t benefit them or others. …But it’s a waste of time when they could actually be doing the thing!

They know that not only does boasting make them unfavorable… Quiet achievers don’t feel the need to boast. Quiet achievers know that it pays to lay low and work hard, before unveiling what they’ve been working on. Then one day, when they do share, people will be blown away by what they’ve created and the work they’ve put in. You see, quiet achievers get to work on building up their skills and they focus on the work that’s required, rather than shouting about things all the time.įor example, a quiet achiever is much more likely to work on building up their portfolio quietly… … And you don’t feel the need to either post it all over social media or tell everyone about it all the time. It’s a definite sign that you’re a quiet achiever if you are consistent with your craft or whatever you’re putting your mind to… Simply put, quiet achievers just get on with things and do more doing than talking.
